Village Plan

Bozeat Village Plan

The Village Plan project was prepared in 2007 through 2008 to establish the needs of the village and to find out how the residents and businesses would like to see it develop.  Every home and business in the village was invited to participate, and a village-wide survey was carried out.

The results of the survey were distributed to all levels of government so that they are aware of the needs and aspirations of our village when forming policies and making decisions.  The Parish Council will refer to the Village Plan when it contains relevant information.

One of the results from the exercise was an Action Plan which lists the facilities and activities that were identified from the analysis of the survey results.  The Parish Council reviews progress towards delivering the items on the Action Plan as ongoing.

The plan was funded by Northamptonshire ACRE and the survey was carried out by a team of volunteers from the village including representatives from the Parish Council.

A limited update was carried out in 2014.
