Village Event Protocols

1. The Parish Council to appoint an Event Team Leader [ETL] who will oversee each event from start to finish.
2. The ETL will complete a risk assessment for the event.
3. Each regular event will have a checklist which the Parish Council will agree and the ETL will manage.
4. The ETL will check that the event is legally compliant and covered by the council’s insurance.
5. Any costs borne by the Parish Council will be agreed and accounted for through the Village Events budget.
6. The ETL will ensure that any licences required for the event are obtained.
