A MEETING OF BOZEAT PARISH COUNCIL WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, 17th JANUARY 2022, FOLLOWING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AT 7pm.

THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD AT TLC, DYCHURCH LANE, BOZEAT. *PLEASE NOTE THAT MEETINGS MAY BE RECORDED

  1. To consider accepting apologies for absence.
  2. To record any new declarations of interest from members in items to be discussed.
  3. To approve the minutes from the meeting of Bozeat Parish Council held on 13th December 2021.
  4. Matters arising from the previous meeting: –
  1. Circulating documents – to note that the circulation of packs has been suspended.
  2. Website migration – update on progress.
  3. Emergency Plan review – review and update of the Emergency Plan.
  4. Skate ramp – update on the resurfacing of the ramp [deferred until the new year].
  5. Santa Pod – to consider how to resolve traffic issues.
  6. Laptop – purchase of new equipment.
  7. Training – play equipment inspection training.
  8. Community assets – update on the application for the Red Lion to be included on the list of

    Community Assets.

5. Council Services – to receive reports.

  1. Cemetery – general report.
  2. Cemetery – applications for permission to place memorials or headstones in the cemetery.
  3. Cemetery – to receive an update on maintenance works [repairs to the wall on the Garden

    of Remembrance in area C; purchase of noticeboards and signs; tree inspection; salt/grit

    container; war memorial cleaning].

  4. Cemetery – to consider investigating the compulsory purchase of land in order to extend

    the cemetery.

  5. Cemetery – to consider extending the Garden of Remembrance on section C.
  6. Cemetery – memorial inspections.
  7. Allotments – general report.
  8. Allotments – to receive an update on maintenance works [cutting back the hedge fronting

    Allens Hill; replacement noticeboards].

  9. Allotments – update on the collection of rents for 2022.

6. Local Environment – to receive the following reports.

  1. Highways – including parking restrictions.
  2. Highways – to consider proposals to introduce a limit of 20mph in areas indicated on a plan.
  3. Highways – to consider purchasing salt to top up grit bins managed by the Parish Council

    and also for use in the cemetery.

  4. Street Lights – to note any lights that are not working.
  5. Parish Paths Warden/Rights of Way.
  6. Village Warden.
  7. Verge mowing – to consider any issues or revisions to the mowing map.
  8. Wildlife conservation areas – report from the Working Party.
  9. Land in St Mary’s Road – to consider requesting the transfer of ownership of the wide verge

    in St Mary’s Road to the parish council.

  10. VillageGreen–treeplantingscheme,includingthePlantATreefortheJubileeproject.
  11. Climate Emergency – to receive a report from the Working Party.

  1. Payments – to receive a report and sign off the bank reconciliation account, and to approve

    payments and any fund transfers to be made this month.

  2. Internal Audit of accounts – to consider a report.
  3. Insurance – to ensure adequate cover for events and revaluation of the cemetery lodge.

13. Correspondence – to acknowledge receipt of correspondence received since the last meeting.

14. To receive any items for the next agenda.

15. Date and time of next meeting – to note that the next meeting of Bozeat Parish Council is scheduled to take place on Monday, 21st February 2022 at TLC, Dychurch Lane, Bozeat. All meetings are open to the public and preceded by Public Participation at 7pm.
