APPENDIX F TRAINING REPORT JANUARY 2022

Background

NorthantsCALC has indicated that all councils must adopt a training plan and provide a budget to satisfy any training needs.

Bozeat Parish Council adopted a Training Policy in January 2021 and has a budget for training and members of the council and the Clerk are encouraged to attend training as and when appropriate.

New members of the council are encouraged to attend the Off to a Flying Start course, which is designed to provide basic training in how local authorities work and the responsibilities of being a councillor.

The Clerk keeps a record of any training course attended by herself or members of the parish council.

During 2021 the following training courses were attended: –

• September 2021 – Margaret Docker attended a management of memorials inspection training course which included an inspection workshop.
