The Development Consent Order has been accepted by the Planning Inspectorate (PINS) and we need to register by 14th August to act as an interested party.  There are over 600 documents that make up the DCO.

• NW/25/00262: Allens Hill, Barn Conversion

Bozeat Parish Council has noticed this application and we would like to raise three concerns that we feel should be addressed when considering the application:

1. The application states that the barn lies within the village boundary but this is not consistent with the adopted Part 2 plan.
2. The new dwelling would be very close to St Mary’s Church Hall and we are concerned that having a residential dwelling so close to the hall could result in new restrictions being imposed upon the use of the hall (such as noise restrictions or reduced hours of use).
3. From the limited drawings of the proposed elevations, we are concerned about the external appearance of the proposed building.  The drawings included in the application give the impression that the building would look like an industrial unit rather than a dwelling.  If this is the case then we consider it to be detrimental to the street-scene.
