A MEETING OF BOZEAT PARISH COUNCIL WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, 15th AUGUST 2022, FOLLOWING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AT 7pm. 

THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD AT TLC, DYCHURCH LANE, BOZEAT.

  1. To consider accepting apologies for absence.
  2. To record any new declarations of interest from members in items to be discussed.
  3. To approve the minutes from the meeting of Bozeat Parish Council held on 25th July 2022.
  4. Matters arising from the previous meeting/s: –
  5. Circulating documents – to note the progress of any packs that are circulating.
  6. Website migration – update on progress.
  7. Emergency Plan review – to consider setting up a working party to progress this project and work together with Grendon and Wollaston Parish Councils to produce a combined approach.
  8. Laptop/software – update on the purchase of new equipment.
  9. Training – to agree any training courses requested by members of the council.
  10. Community assets – update on the application for the Red Lion to be included on the list.
  11. Skate ramp – resurfacing report.
  12. Audit of local council adopted policies and procedures – to note that this project is on hold.
  13. Play area inspection – update on repairs.
  14. Council Services – to receive reports.
  15. Cemetery – general report.
  16. Cemetery – applications for permission to place memorials or headstones in the cemetery.
  17. Cemetery – to receive an update on maintenance works [purchase of noticeboards; war memorial cleaning; tree safety assessments].
  18. Cemetery – to consider the purchase of land in order to extend the cemetery.
  19. Cemetery – to consider extending the Garden of Remembrance on section C.
  20. Cemetery – memorial inspections – to note that inspections are in progress.
  21. Allotments – general report.
  22. Allotments – to receive an update on maintenance works [replacement noticeboards; fence repairs; hedge planting].
  23. Local Environment – to receive the following reports.
  24. Highways – including parking restrictions and speed reduction near the primary school.
  25. Street Lights – to note any lights that are not working.

  28. Verge mowing – to note any issues and consider any revisions to the mowing map.
  29. Village Green – update on the project to install bollards in order to prevent unauthorised parking.

  32. New litter bin for outside the village shop – update on purchase.

  52. Correspondence – to acknowledge receipt of correspondence received since the last meeting.

  54. Date and time of next meeting – to note that the next meeting of Bozeat Parish Council is scheduled to take place on Monday, 19th September 2022 at TLC, Dychurch Lane, Bozeat following Public Participation at 7pm.
