Agenda – Annual Finance Meeting 2026

THE ANNUAL FINANCE MEETING FOR BOZEAT PARISH COUNCIL WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, 12^th JANUARY 2026 AT BOZEAT TLC, DYCHURCH LANE, BOZEAT, NN29 7JP, AT 7pm. UNLESS OTHERWISE ADVISED.

1. To consider accepting apologies for absence.

2. To accept declarations of interest from members of Bozeat Parish Council for items included on the agenda.

3. Employees.
4. to review the following salaries [please refer to the report and summary of salaries].

• Clerk/Burial Registrar.
• Allotments Manager.

1. to note that all Parish Council employees are employed and that PAYE is operated.
2. to note that the requirements of the Pensions Regulator have been fulfilled.

4. Cemetery.

• to review the Cemetery fees [please refer to your Policies Manual – last revised April 2025].
• to review and revise the Cemetery guidelines [please refer to your Policies Manual – last revised January 2024].

6. to review and set the rents for the year 1^st January – 31^st December 2027.

Rents for 2026 that had been set at the Annual Finance Meeting in January 2025 were revised following concerns raised by the Allotments Manager and all rents subjected to an increase of 10% for 2026 = £48.40 [full plot]; £24.20 [half plot]; with primary tenants in receipt of State Pension paying £30.80 [full plot]; £15.40 [half plot].  Tenants have been advised that rents for 2027 will be the same for all tenants, regardless of age.

11. To review the Parish Plan Action Plan – [last revised and reviewed January 2025 – please refer to the report and copy].

12. To review all GDPR documents and report any data breaches – [please refer to your copies of the documents – last reviewed January 2025].

15. To review the effectiveness of internal controls for audit purposes – [please refer to the report – last reviewed January 2025].

17. Precept for the year 1^st April 2026 – 31^st March 2027.
18. To consider including funds in the budget towards costs incurred by Bozeat Playing Field Association.
19. To consider including funds in the budget towards set up costs for the new village hall.
20. To review all budgets and agree the precept for the financial year beginning 1^st April 2026.

Tax base – the projected tax base is 802.
