A MEETING OF BOZEAT PARISH COUNCIL WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY, 20th JUNE 2022, FOLLOWING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AT 7pm. 

THIS MEETING WILL BE HELD AT TLC, DYCHURCH LANE, BOZEAT.

  1. To consider accepting apologies for absence.
  2. To record any new declarations of interest from members in items to be discussed.

 

  1. To approve the minutes from the meeting of Bozeat Parish Council held on 16th May 2022.

 

  1. Matters arising from the previous meeting/s: –
  2. Circulating documents – to note the progress of any packs that are circulating.
  3. Website migration – update on progress.
  4. Emergency Plan review – to note that this project is on hold.
  5. Santa Pod – to discuss traffic issues.
  6. Laptop/software – update on the purchase of new equipment.
  7. Training – play equipment inspection and new councillor training.
  8. Community assets – update on the application for the Red Lion to be included on the list.
  9. Skate ramp resurfacing – to note that the ramp has been resurfaced.
  10. Audit of local council adopted policies and procedures – to note that this project is on hold.
  11. Parishes Online – to consider paying an annual subscription of £124.80 and using the site to record and map assets belonging to Bozeat Parish Council.

 

  1. Council Services – to receive reports.
  2. Cemetery – general report.
  3. Cemetery – applications for permission to place memorials or headstones in the cemetery.
  4. Cemetery – to receive an update on maintenance works [purchase of noticeboards; war memorial cleaning; tree safety assessments].
  5. Cemetery – to consider the purchase of land in order to extend the cemetery.
  6. Cemetery – to consider extending the Garden of Remembrance on section C.
  7. Cemetery – memorial inspections – to note that inspections are in progress.
  8. Allotments – general report.
  9. Allotments – to receive an update on maintenance works [replacement noticeboards; replacement fence].

 

  1. Local Environment – to receive the following reports.
  2. Highways – including parking restrictions and speed reduction near the primary school.
  3. Street Lights – to note any lights that are not working and to consider changing energy suppliers for the unmetered supply to the lights that remain the responsibility of the Parish Council.
  4. Parish Paths Warden/Rights of Way.
  5. Village Warden.
  6. Verge mowing – to note any issues and consider any revisions to the mowing map.
  7. Village Green – update on the project to install bollards in order to prevent unauthorised parking.
  8. Village Green – to consider the provision of CCTV and two planters.
  9. Climate Emergency and wildlife conservation area – to receive a report from the Working Party.
  10. New litter bin for outside the village shop – update on purchase.

 

  1. Planning – to receive reports.
  2. Current/new planning applications.

 

  1. Representatives Reports – to receive the following reports.
  2. Bozeat Playing Field Association – car park extension and resurfacing.
  3. Bozeat Primary School.
  4. JAG meetings.

  1. Police – to receive reports.
  2. Crimes – to note any crimes that are notified to the council.

 

  1. Local Events.
    1. 2-6 June 2022 – The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – review of events.
    2. 27th August 2022 – Summer Fete – update and to consider the future organisation of events.

 

  1. Inspection of equipment at the Playing Field – to receive the inspection report and consider any actions required to resolve issues raised.

 

  1. Chairman’s expenses – to consider paying an allowance to the Chairman towards costs incurred during his service for the previous year.

 

  1. Finance
  2. Payments – to receive a report and to approve payments to be made this month.
  3. Audit of 2021-2022 accounts.

 

  1. Correspondence – to acknowledge receipt of correspondence received since the last meeting.

 

  1. To receive any items for the next agenda.

 

  1. Date and time of next meeting – to note that the next meeting of Bozeat Parish Council is scheduled to take place on Monday, 18th July 2022 at TLC, Dychurch Lane, Bozeat following Public Participation at 7pm.
