Community Areas

The four main community areas are the Village Green, the Playing Fields, Town Well and the Village Sign.

The Parish Council does not own or manage a community building but the village has three venues: Bozeat Community Church Hall, The Little Chapel and the Pavilion.  The Church Hall on Allens Hill is the largest and is owned and managed by St Mary’s Church.  The Little Chapel (the Independent Wesleyan Chapel) in Dychurch Lane is the next largest and the Pavilion at the Playing Fields is the smallest although it has the benefit of outdoor space.

Village Green

This is in the centre of the village at the junction of the High Street and London Road and is owned and managed by Bozeat Parish Council.

The Playing Fields

Although the playing fields are managed by the Bozeat Playing Fields Association, they host the skateboard ramp, MUGA, outdoor exercise equipment and the meeting point on behalf of the Parish Council.

Skateboard Ramp

The skateboard ramp is a half-pipe with a birch-ply surface.  The surface is selected for skateboarding and as a result all users should wear appropriate protective gear.  Please report any problems with the skate ramp to Bozeat Parish Council.

MUGA

Although the Multi Use Games Area is owned and maintained by the Parish Council, it is managed on our behalf by Bozeat Playing Fields Association and can be booked through their website.

Note:  The community areas are to be used in a responsible and safe manner.  Please refer to any notices and other information posted locally in these areas for further information.
